Massively overperforming over 32 games is not indicative of a poor team, mate.

Undoubtedly their position has been helped by bigger teams having rotten seasons but you can only beat what’s in front of you, as the saying goes. I like NES as a manager as well. Looking more and more like Spurs were the fluke in his record (and how they’ve done since kind of backs that up, too).

This. You’re right. With an approach to each match being to let the the other club make mistakes and then counter, that’ll get you to where they are. But to really contend and not be considered posers, you have to be strong in the attack as well. They’re not balanced.
