Bascombe could have done his homework before using Moyes' name in a WC bid 'snub' story:

I can only imagine another, more explosive story has been pulled and this pathetic non-story has replaced it. It really is just filler - not even the likes of Bascombe would usually peddle this tripe as an exclusive investigative report. It's like something a bored Ian Ross would knock together in his tea break to get a pathetic dig in at LCC. There's a thought.

If Ian Ross is capable of changing a NOTW "exclusive investigation" story then the man should be on more money than David Moyes.

This is the NOTW we are talking about, not the Liverpool Echo.

When you think of their past stories of Max Mosley and co - if they can't keep them shut, I very much doubt Ian Ross and Everton can.
