Is this motto apt for Everton? Really?

A motto is a statement that everyone can feel, believe in and get behind. It identifies your reason to be. Do we feel Nothing But The Best Is Good Enough is applicable to Everton?

It feels satirical, to some if feels a millstone around our neck.

It's an aspirartional motto, nothing more. Those who understand need no explanation, those who don't...

Keep it, we need to aspire to that motto, or we'll forever be an also ran. I know under recent times we;ve been nowhere that standard, but if you don't aim for the top, what's the point.

It's our History - I remember as a young lad 1966 - my late Father coming home after a 1-0 win at Bolton Burden park - There was I bursting to hear about the game - he was drunks as a skunk - I asked about the game - he muttered NSNO & crawled up the stairs on all fours .....
That stuck in my mind to this day ....
