my point exactly about the NewsNow feed, [Poor language removed] them! Its so frustrating to have my heart skip a beat when i see the latest star we're linked with, only to squint and see the corresponding link is NSNO, and the story was most likely generated from a series of typos in obscure papers.
 
btw i have the same problem with Tribal Football, but atleast their stories have the little aussie flag next to it so i know to ignore them
 
I don't mind NSNO that much, some of the members there are sound.

The main problem I have with NSNO is the clique you don't agree with them you know jackshit about football simple as. Even if your viewpoint is a justified one you still know jackshit.

without the Clique I'd happily post both here and on NSNO. Here if you post your opinion it's respected sometimes you can even change others opinions about certain players or everton related news.

Over there you have no chance, you have to arse lick the clique before you even get a say in anything.

Exactly who is in this 'clique' you talk about?

I've been on there ages and never seen anything remotely akin to what you speak of.
 
I only view the NSNO Everton chat forum and it is a very good forum. Open debate, not all singing from the same hymn sheet.
 
I was a regular user on there for a couple of years from its inception, and whilst my opinion of the site won't change i have to disagree about the ' clique' accusation, quite a few of them know each other personally and as such have developed friendships over time,as is the case on here and other forums. Having a different viewpoint was never a crucifiable offence on there, you just fought for your belief(s).

This shouldn't degenerate into a petty GOT V Nsno slagging match as some of the views given in this thread are an individual's opinion and not necassarily representative of the site owners.

Cal, your post there shows your age off - that site is a top site, if you read their news articles you'd know.

It's like boasting that I have a great car, only for it to break down within 5 yards of my house.

Most of these Everton sites are created to make money. I know because I started something a while ago with a friend in the hope of making affiliation cash. But to get people onto your site to click on the ads, you need to attract them.

Tribal Football do it blatently, other's more discreetly, but still the same goal. To make money.

I got shot down on BK because I basically said that this guy who had created an Everton news aggregate site was deluded if he thought his site was going to be better than newsnow. It was poorly designed, and poorly executed and had one goal, to make money.

Ok, so some may say what's wrong with making money? Nothing, but if your going to do it, you need to do it right. The design needs to be spot on, it needs to load quickly and it needs to have content. I know of such a site, shame that one of the bosses is a complete tit, but there we go.

I've not been on FE since the old rumours about Lucho and Gattuso where floating about. I didn't really like the layout then and I'm sure Gravesen was spelt wrong in the player news section back then but it looks top notch now, much better then the old layout. (y)
