This has to be the attitude really. We’re a poisoned chalice of a club who can never seem to kick on, with or without money. Whoever takes it on needs plenty of time to try and make a difference.

Bunch of weirdos in here. Wouldn't be a very ambitious hire but should give us an identity. Wolves played some good football (team structure, good pressing and quick passes) at their best, though that obviously wasn't this year. If you don't remember just go back and watch some highlights. There were passages of play that we have not seen at Everton in a long time. Think it'd be potentially alright.

NES got the support of Mendes at Wolves. He somehow turned Wolves into a shop window for Portuguese players. This arrangement benefited the club, the players, and himself.

I'm not terrible sure what kind of support he would get here, except Brands and a more substantial kitty (but we don't have a line for cut-price young players!)
