I would take him over Potter and Lampard which doesn't say much.

Only because I think if we signed a solid CB, attacking RWB and another good CF playing 352 would suit us with Digne for me being a wing back.

People also get the 3 in CM that they crave.

We don’t have any money to spend.

We need someone committed to coaching and building a team over 3/4/5 years. Not someone just here for a payday then he’s off again a La ancelotti/benitez/mourinho etc etc

Digne is awful as a wing back, has not dynamism whatsoever. And wolves have spent similar to us. Lose 2 players and they collapse

Anyone else think he's worth a shot? Did a great job at Wolves, can't really judge him on his time at spurs. we need someone who not only recruits well but also improves players through proper coaching. i've lost count of the amount of players we've signed in the last ten years who's form fell off a cliff edge, they can't all be that bad.

Not me.

Hard pass I think before he was sacked spurs were at the bottom three of stats for chances created and shots on target. Just super dour turgid football which had my fill of over the past tedious seasons. Compared to Nuno , Benitez plays electrifying attacking football Haha

No defo not, i did want him in the summer but a lot said no then and many made a good case as to why, which kind of went on to happen at Spurs. Besides if he couldnt get that squad looking good with our wasters he has no chance.
Not that i think Rafael will be going over the next few weeks but Lampard is the name i like the best that is realistic.

I'd have had him in the summer, but not now.

He looked a broken man after a month at Tottenham.
Agree completely. He looked every bit as uninterested as he did broken prior to the inevitable sacking - just a monumental mismatch from the very start. Oh to be a football manager, few weeks "work", 7 figure pay off, then back on the gravy train if you want to.

Ruben Amorim Or Christophe Gaultier are the type of progressive managers we should be after.

Not merry go round failures of the PL.
