Yeah you're probably right. Still think he's making a strange decision to leave. Especially if we do go down, the likely departures of Onana, Doucoure and Iwobi would make his pathway to first team football pretty clear.
Well nothing is confirmed yet. If we go down maybe he'll stick around. I don't really blame lads doing it now though, they just want to play. He's too good for the U21's, like Mills, so it's either loaned forever or move and start afresh.
The amount of times they even struggle to string more than 4 passes together even when just doing simple training drills shows you how crap they are lol

Yeah, I can understand why players don't want to do the loan dance, but even if we stay up our midfield is opening up by next summer with Gana, Doucoure, Davies and Iwobi all out of contract this year or next and Onana a likely sale at some point. If we go down I'd say he'd be a first team contender next season, if not go on loan for a season and slots will open up summer '24. If he's good enough there's a pathway.
