What a classy players entrance that was. Marble interior I recall. And a uniformed official in charge. The red brick construction of the stadium was also glorious and so intimidating -- not like the shitty, rusting metal cladding now.

Yeah, near enough, the bubble and squeaks scored an early-ish goal, though tbh we were not at the top of our game and they moved it about well.
I think that Johnson with that goal kept up his record of scoring on his various debuts.
We were well done over by all and sundry in the away leg...would we have won it... coulda...maybe, seem to remember they got battered in the final

That took me back! I was very young so memories rather hazy. Crowd were a bit Luke warm towards Portugal weren't they? Party poopers that day but Eusebio was a joy to watch.
