..doubt you’d get that parking space these days.

I went in once awful view...... cheap and nasty , and that high pitched singinglol
Funny the number of youngsters who went just the once. Count me in on that. I pocketed the rest of my entrance money one time to buy some loosie No.6 fags. I was like a lamb to the slaughter as I was relieved of both my fags and my bus fare back to town. The bad lads didn't realise the importance of my bus and boat return ticket so was at least able to get back over the water.
That Bill Kenwright must have been hard.

Wusses :) i couldnt afford anywhwere else, i must have looked dead hard then :) no one bothered me, probably missed anything going on around me.
i was in the boys pen at Analfield when we played Liverpool in 1967 at Goodison and it was shown on the big screen over there, i celebrated like a loon when Bally slotted the winner...........shows how stupid i was at that age.

I was just saying today that there is value in sticking with the younger players. How many of us claim to have been there around Xmas 83 and the team of Sharp Ratcliffe Sheedy Richardson and Heath were being slaughtered. I know its a bit different today but...
Yes the cries of sharpie and his lead boots.
Not sure about the other two tbh.
Maybe old age

The nadir was surely that 2-2 draw with Chesterfield in the 2nd leg of the League Cup. 8k in attendance, bloody freezing & tumbleweed blowing through a near-empty Upper Bullens.
