United's team coach passed us outside the Main Stand that afternoon, closely followed by the pursuing Red Army legions, part of what must have been one of the largest away followings I've seen at Goodison even to this day. Great atmosphere, terrific match.

You may be right mate can't really remember the city game to well, but I was at the derby game and remember Ross having a good game marking Bally.

suitably adjusted dates on it
And theres still one of those old square clocks knocking around in a builders yard somewhere too

I seen most rounds of the Everton Youth team youth cup run, in 1965 at Goodison the only home game I missed was the final just looked it was a Monday night - my older brother who kindly took me must have been working late on that Monday evening - doh who would have thought John hurst and Jimmy Husband I would be watching 4 years later in the first team winning the Championship - they played great football with big gates for a youth team at Goodison park.....
