30th September 1967 Alan Ball swings the ball into the Leicester net from a position well out by the touchline to open the scoring his 2nd in a 2-0 win for the blues-

11th October 1967 Sunderland keeper, Jim Montgomery, fails to hold a shot from Johnny Morrissey leaving Alex Young to open the scoring after only four minutes in the League Cup tie at home to Sunderland in a 3-2 defeat-

Do you know who the scorer was? I have photos of Royle's first three and Hursts goal in this match but can't identify this one

23rd November 1964 Forsyth is left clutching at air as Fred Pickering's free kick tears into the net for Everton's fourth and final goal against Kilmarnock in the Fairs Cup in a a 4-1 win to progress- notice we are playing in white it must have been an era of all cup games we used this strip at home or away?

The euro rule back then was the home team changed if there was a clash...they supposedly had ready access to spare strips, were as the away team, might be travelling light.

5th March 1966 Fred Pickering adds the third against Coventry after Alex Scott had turned the ball back to him in a 3-0 win - notice again playing in white at home.......

Brought back memories! I was sat at the back of the lower Bullens near the St End in the shadow in that picture. Rubbish view but exciting times on the way to Wembley!!!
