Reading the Tommy Lawton book he comes across as a lovely jovial person - oh and the posters who mentioned Tommy Lawton looked like George Formby - the book mentions him a a handsome hunk of a player who was a spiders web for ladies which he was ......his famous quote is in there he divorced Everton, and it should have been his first wife lolHad the good fortune to meet Joe long after he'd retired from football and even though he'd left us for good in 1946 he was still an Evertonian.
