Tony was a decent player, better still he was a gentleman.
Yes if we had got him when we had the Latch ........Thought he was quite underrated. Wasn't a prolific scorer but bagged a good few for us but what I enjoyed about him was the skill in his feet. Very skilful player indeed. Just with us when we were not so good.
A great manager who should have been given the England managers job, I think he frightened the people at the FA who interviewed him for the job, he would have done it his way and that scared the life out of them.He was rotten drunk by the time he went up to his room with a bottle of whiskey,got the drinks in though and wasnt the slightest bit arrogant
