I've been to my dentist this morning and he's a Manure fan. We were both sounding off about our weekend performances. The one thing we agreed on is our belief things aren't going to get better anytime soon.

Howard Kendall makes a mug of Pat Jennings by lobbing him from 25 yards. Joe Harper, on his debut, celebrates with Howard turning away behind him. We'd lost six on the trot prior to this 3-1 win, with two goals from HK, both from distance, and one from John Hurst. Harper had a great game but I seem to recall him missing a pen.
