Surely that's a veterans derby game isn't it?

Florian Albert - what a player. The grace of an Alex Young and the finishing prowess of a Jimmy Greaves
Was it him that scored that volleyed goal?
iirc (?) It was pouring down
Brazil came not to lose and were prepared to get their retaliation in first.
The crowd were all behind the Hungarians.

Labone was injured at the end of 69-70, and Ball was capt. At the start of 70-71...tbh, he was not the best Capt. as he had little patience with mistakes
Thanks Degsy. That clears the story then.
Yes, remember Labone on the footage running around in his suit during the championship celebrations

@Joey66, you've got a pic somewhere of Ball giving Joe a right old rollicking
I think it was Moggsy giving Joe a glare coming out in the first leg 2nd half vMunchen Gladbach in the European cup which ended 1-1 goal from HK......
Bally captained us in the 1970 run in when Labby was injured - The Catts mistake was not to return the captaincy back to Labby when he returned to the team the following season - in hindsight Bally was never Captain material - Welty had views on this as a very experienced player of that time - Kieth Newton on Bally's transfer was glad to see him go yet Newton was so slow on the turn , and past his best on joining us imo......I never took to him ....

He Bol lacked every player even HK and Bally ha do row over a free kick with HK pushing him away at Leeds and taking the free kick - this was a world class player who never even liked losing a game of tiddlywinks winks ....he cried after defeats never captain material.....
