You could see the fellas quality from the moment he joined, a very, very good player, unfortunately it was an expensive gamble at the time with his knees and it never really paid off for us.

By the time he'd joined us though he was basically unable to turn for fear of doing his cartilages, ligaments etc, so invariably he'd only ever play the ball in the direction he was facing. Played well for us nevertheless.
