Jim the smallest Keeper I have seen for the blues evidently a good coaching professional though - rubbish between the post for us though -That must have been when Neville was starting on the bins!!!

Dont understand that.Big Nev speaks highly of Jim McDonagh, said he learnt a lot from him !!
To be fair he done well to overcome the disability of being born without shoulders,if we had any sort of compitent keeper in the 70s/early 80s I feel we would have another couple of trophies in the cabinet, even Wood was a very hit and miss stopperA record signing at the time for a goalkeeper, Catterick was ill and on the wane when he signed him, we had some terrible ‘keepers around that time, Dia Davies, Jim McDonough, later he decided his name was Seamus, Jim or Seamus he was bleedin’useless.
Major, major errors of judgements made during that period, which would have changed our fortunes. To be fair he done well to overcome the disability of being born without shoulders,if we had any sort of compitent keeper in the 70s/early 80s I feel we would have another couple of trophies in the cabinet, even Wood was a very hit and miss stopper
A rare photo. Dave Lawson actually saves one. Terry would have cleared it off the line.. League cup disaster Old Trafford 77
