Throwback image is, we believe, from 8th March 1950 at Burden Park. It shows Harry Catterick about to head home the winner from a Ted Buckle cross. Everton beat Bolton 2-1. They finished the season in 18th place, a harbinger of relegation in 1951 -

I remember one season when the players had just returned after the summer break, Billy Wright looked like he'd spent his time eating his way through various cake shops... he was enormous.
