My late father went to that game the third game produced the only 2 goals for us -Boomer Pickering, and Temple.....They were the better team In the replay at Goodison, we hung on for a 0-0 they were an emerging team at the time in the old 2nd division.....

There was a brick changing rooms and a Wooden Tea room /groumdsmans room, that was always warm and smelled of sterrie.
But as far as I know the girls never played there (that said, I have a vague recollection of a Hockey Pitch in one corner up by the Queens Drive exit) the Collegiate school and Old Boys did.

and the wooden hut??...that’s exactly where I thought, Degsy. As you say, Collegiate OB played there, it was a decent pitch and very close to Bellefield. Very smart in there these days, with astro pitch.
