Dixie Dean TG Jones was better than John Charles who had a more crouched style of play - TG was just majestic, my late father rave about his ability to get the ball out of defence by pure dribbling with a thunderous shot either foot, and the ability to pin point passing, lightyears ahead of his time - the book The Prince of Centre Half's was a fantastic tribute to him .....Dad's favourite Everton side & the benchmark by which he judged all the rest.
