Like a football autobiography. Picked 2 up last week. One Bobby Moore. Talks about an.fa cup game at Upton Park to Everton in 1963. Says they got a controversial goal and the game was stopped for 10 minutes when three everton fans got on the pitch and tried to attack the referee. One got within 5 yards of the ref before being hauled down by 2 coppers. Mad that fella is prob about 80 now.
Other one is Nobby Stiles. Say that before the fa cup semi final with Everton in 1966 he starting getting letters off an Everton fan saying that he would put a hatchet in his head when he was coming out of the tunnel onto the pitch. Says he got about 6 letters in the weeks before the game telling him not to play. He said he made the decision to play but it was the fastest he had ever run from the changing rooms onto the pitch.
