When I was there they started a 5-a-side competition, the final of which was played on Sports Day. The first year it started I was in 4S, and we won the 5-a-side competition. That would be 1966. On the way to the final, we beat the teachers team, and Upper 6th 'A' - no mean feat. Both kicked the crap out of us, though! Colin Harvey refereed the final. Here's a photo of the winning 4S team. You will recognise the convent wall in the background. It rained heavily all afternoon. I'm on the exteme right, totally soaked!There was some inter-house games late in the term, we might have played against each other
