....great find. Burnley actually won the FA Youth Cup that season with Dave Thomas in the team, confirming my view that the side winning this trophy usually contains a top player of the future.

Yep don't no the score though of that game - Terry Owen finished his career at Colwyn Bay FC after a muted career with us - indeed the father of Michael ....How our scouts missed Thomas is a mystery as Burnley was a good feeder club for us for star player tricky Trev - Dobbo ....
