All sorts of injuries prior to the game ,we played ok on the day led 1-0 Ian Storey-Moore had the game of his life that day,which ultimately led to a big money move to Man U.He was a good player and they where a tough team especially at home.Every Everton home game against them was hard.Remember big Joe getting the winner at home during that period.Sure they finished runner up during that period.Disappointing sure but tough ask with a depleted team.Closely behind the semi defeat to City in 69 was this game
