Amazing! ;)

I can only imagine what the 'boing' was like in the terraces back then.....

The day many many blues fans cried 2-0 up in 1970 at the dreaded as Lawler gets the winner to come back inside 15 minutes to win 3-2 - I was in the Kop trying to get out when that goal went in -

So was my dad! Never went to the Pit again!! Had said the previous year when we won 2-0 it could never be bettered but got coaxed into one more game.

A horrendous day it all went tits up about 20 minutes from the end we were singing "easy easy easy " then the wheels fell off. We have had so many nightmares against them what breaks my heart the most is when we lose to them even when we are the better team.

You have virtually taken the words out of my dad's mouth. Said we had never seen us so dominant and yet collapse so totally all in the same game. Even worse than the semi in 1971. At least we took a full half to give it away in that one although that was my personal low point, closely followed by the 5-0. Any way enough negativity because I started with the excellent Alan Ball inspired win in 1967. What a moment! Still the most watched match for an FA cup game when you add the two attendances.

I going to bed mate you have just brought back all my worst memories ( I missed the game in 67). I hope you realise the misses will be getting a kicking tonight when I will trying to stop them scoring in my sleep.
