Great player Pick, a goal machine with style and grace. Didn't get out the game what his talent deserved. Injuries mainly. When he came to the Toffees he soon showed his calibre. Could have renamed him Pick the hat trick man. His most famed hat trick awaited him up at Preston at Easter 1970. Sending Pool up to the top div and Preston nob end down to the third . The Seasiders supporters trust had a 50th anniversary celebration a few months ago Pick is still loved in Blackpool. God rest his soul

Not a bad keeper though. As Everton keepers go. He was ok......imo.

Agreed, one of the Seasiders best keepers over the last 40 years I'd say. The Blues saw something in him obviously. Upped his game for a higher level too.
