Ephraim 'Jock' Dodds. Signed post-war to succeed Tommy Lawton as EFC centre-forward. A large striker with an excellent goal return in a fading team (37 goals in 58 appearances). The Grangemouth-born player died in 2007. -

Another ex Tangerine doing his stuff for the Toffees. Played in the war time league for BFC and scored 66 in one season! No wonder the blues went and got him when peace was declared. Died in Blackpool in 2007.

3-0 win to us......OG.......Power and Watson(a diving header). Was at that match. Have the programme. Always keep a newspaper cutting of the match along with the programme.. Especially when we win. Also keep a little note of my own........stating how I thought we played. This match I just wrote ....comfortable win.
