...the game where the World Cup, FA Cup and Championship trophies were paraded. I was right behind that goal from Roger Hunt and it was some strike from a bloke we associate with goals from inside the box.

Believe it or not I went in the Anfield Road end for his Testimonial game - a gang of us in my youth had a load of Bevies 50/50 reds & Blues , bored & some red joker persuaded us to go - it was a massive attendance too - half time entertainment a five-a-side of TV stars a certain Stuart Hall was on show in tight shorts........ he was so fat it looked so funny - who'd have thought he would have ended up in jail.....

Joey Jones was a coach at a club I used to play for in the early 90’s. He signed for us to help out with an injury crisis as he was good mates with my manager who used to be involved at Wrexham.
