No, it was an old fashioned Saturday 3PM. United won 2-0 and Birtles hit everything except the back of the net.

Imagine if Carr had made a pig's ear of the flick up. Or if Hunt had air kicked his shot. Would that nonsense of a move still have been banned.
But not to be. Coventry executed it perfectly. A well practised move from them.
Awful for us..........But you have to applaud their cheek and audacity. Not at the time.........But looking back years later... Imagine if we had thought of it???
