That is a fantastic find joey. One of the great moments with the Toffees that. Sandy the best in many tough scenarios. He certainly let the Catt know what he thought of him to his face after the dropped bomb went off. May have took a swing of his hard Scottish fists too at that gutting moment. Legend

When he first arrived & found out he was on low pay he asked captain Roy Vernon to represent him in the Catts office for a rise in pay - they argued the point - the Catt was having non of it - he asked Roy Vernon to stay as Sandy left deflated - when - Roy came out sandy went to thank him for as his captain his representation....
Roy smiled & stated it's ok sandy smiling -I got a pay rise only to never represent any other player again - The Catt was ruthless -

As well as a pay rise the Catt also gave Vernon a free pass for life to any store selling tobacco in the city. That in itself quadrupled his wages lol

Hamilton and Jennings two blues to be. Well sort of in the goalies case lol

Bryan Hamilton should have gone down in Everton folklore. But not to be. Thanks to a certain Clive bloody Thomas. Still remember that decision.........still don't understand that decision.
And it's a shame that Jennings never got a few games for us. After he left Everton he went on to play in another World Cup........so wasn't exactly finished.
