Looking at the socks......that would be Sunderland. And if so then the keeper is most likely Jim Montgomery (a very good keeper imo). Just about can see a little tuft of hair. Can't think who the defender is though. At a guess ......maybe Len Ashurst....mmmm.

Blanchflower was a complex character. At least according to a book I read on N.Ireland footballers. A great player......yes. But complex. Didn't he refuse to go on that show "this is your life". No real harm in doing that though.

Great player. Also one of my boyhood heros. All that bunch of players from around that time were. Even guys like Tommy Jackson and Alan Whittle. And not forgetting Sandy Brown.
But Joe Royle was great.

...if that’s Goodison, Everton appear to be in Amber so the keeper would be Everton’s keeper; Royle, Morrissey and Harvey in the picture. FA Cup if at Goodison or could maybe Roker Park, I think they might have had the Leitch design stands.
