Was indeed. Was in the stand opposite the cameras with thousands of other Blues. Lots of blues all round the ground. Can't remember -- would the game have been all ticket? All ticket matches were a rarity in those days. Pretty certain no league games were ever all ticket, even title clinchers.
I watch that and I well up. Great days
It was an FA cup quarter final so may have been all ticket. Although with blues fans all over the ground maybe it wasn't.
Had to laugh at the commentary leading up to the game about great cross by Hurst for the first goal and the bally cross.
