Not me mate, I got in. Long journey even by train, even longer by car no doubt.

My bother aged 16 was given my late fathers ticket as my fathers brother had four three for his family - My older brother travelled to London to seep in their flat in Burmansy findin his old way with directions the night before - he was made up, but alas his ticket was in the Wednesday end - all the tickets were split to different parts of Wembley for all the family - the tickets then were like gold dust....
The only joy he could wear his Everton scarf as Wednesday fans were identical ,... he just kept quiet until of course the comeback came, no bother the Wednesday fans were too dejected......- he had a game of footie on the park with his two cousins & off he went to get the busses plus train home ......I was 7 years younger so watched it unfold on a Black & white television - I can remember my emotions now of what a roller coaster game it really was ......
I went on a 44 seater coach of which 5 of the fans had tickets for the game. After the 6 hour trip we had a mooch around Soho then headed for Wembley. Couldn't get Tout tickets as RS fans had ruined that the
previous year, we had to keep clear of Police on horseback looking for fans without tickets, at 2.50pm three of us made a rush for an empty turnstile, we paid £7 Ten Shillings for the three of us (£7.50p).once inside we had to show the ticket stub to get through the second gate, which we obviously didn't have. I asked a
Wednesday fan who had come back out for a pee, to see if his mates could lend us their stubs, he did, and we all got in about 3.02pm. I often think of his kindness that day in a million. My two mates that day were RS fans, but Blues for that day, sorry to say that they have both passed on since. I hope that ' Owl Fan' is still
alive and kicking, and I will always have a soft spot for Wednesday.

They looked they had been sold tickets for the boys pen ...both of them had beards anyway they got in as the gate man laughed as it was you could go anywhere in one side of the ground - other blues fans climbed trees to look in ......

Andy made of Lager ..... lol
A lot of money for one decent cross.......
That cross was worth every penny Joey and I'm happy to say me and my eldest lad were down for that game and it was one of the best nights I've been proud to witness at Goodison, I was in the main stand that night right in line with that cross and I honestly thought the roof was coming off the old lady when we scored, a truly great memory.
