Just to say that he was a fine player Colin Bell. Interesting footnote was that Bell was looked upon by the Blackpool recruitment team to be a decent replacement for Bally, who was thought to be off inevitably, and offered Bury around 40k for him. City came in with a counter bid of 45k and off he went there. Bell for Ball but not to be.

Any fast midfielders in Blackpool's squad now? lol

Had a midfield player on loan from Leicester last season. Kieran Dewsbury Hall. Mustard on his day. In a different league to some of the plodders in League one. Went back to Leicester unfortunately end of season. Wanted Critchley to get him back but no dice. Must have impressed the LC management with his endeavours on the coast as he signed a new 4 year contract with them when arriving back. The sea air seemed to agree with him and he thanked the Tangerines for his time here.

Great player for us. A bit of a swash buckler ... you could feel the love he had for the game and for scoring goals in particular.
