Posted this in the Tom Davies thread, said as I watched Tom tearing the RS last night I thought back to standing on the Anfield Rd. end watching his uncle Alan doing the self same thing to them 50 years ago. Funny, it seems like yesterday.

Great year for Tangerines and Toffees. Used to keep these up on the wall at home. Usually lost track soon into the season. Made sure updated at the end of this glorious period. Within a year though EFC started a decline and BFC were back in the second division. Not to return to the top flight for 40 years.
