we were going through a goal scorer crisis at the time, option 1 was put Gabby up there. We signed Pickering soon after. I don't think it was Byrne though...Lawler was the regular No2Gabby playing no 9 in a 3-1 at Goodison win over the other lot giving Byrne a nice kick!
