16th December 1972 Joe Harper looks up to see John Hurst's effort give Everton the lead against Spurs- in a 3-1 win for us -

Came across this photo this morning, it’s a civic reception held at Bangor city in 1983 for Everton in respect of a charity game for a local player named Paul Broadhead. Fast forward almost 40 years and the family connection becomes a factor as we have Nathan Broadhead knocking on the door of the first team, I’m not 100% certain but I believe Nathan is Paul’s grandson. You can see Howard Kendall second from the right.

Lots of big sidies on show here. Tony Currie always had a good set and Bernie Wright's are looking fairly wild. Bit like his personality.

Just to add I'm not sure why the goalie is bothering to dive as that ball is heading for the corner flag.
