One of the many advertising buses around in 1974 was this WMPTE Daimler Fleetline 3480 (BON 480C), it was in the livery of Barker and Dobson's Everton mints, although 'Pay as you enter' 3480 has a conductor. The striking vehicle is rounding the island at the junction of Highfield Road and Robin Hood Lane in Hall Green Birmingham, to the right of the bus is a bus stop for the long withdrawn 29 service from the city centre to Yardley Wood station. Behind the bus was a fine Victorian house, now a block of flats -
