Saw Gidman in West Derby Village looking like a ’letter S’ around that time. I think his Dad was a Villa scout in the early 70s.

I was queueing on Goodison Road for our semi-final fa cup 1980 tickets, a scuffle broke out about 10 yards
ahead of me, it seems that 2 men were selling tickets over the top to their own supporters, 2 lovely men
called Gidman & Megson.

We arnt good enough our football lately relegation football.....sad , but true - next season has to be an improvement........

I know we all see a different game Dario, but Brian Kidd let us down so badly that day. We seem to attract
that kind of mercenary player(This team of ours now and for the last few years has harboured even
managers that are only here for the money).
