What I meant to say was when we were 2.0 down my dad got down on his knees and said please god let them win and I'll go to church in the morning. This is from someone who only went to church for weddings funerals and christenings. The next morning my mother who went to church every Sunday was trying to drag him out of bed but he wouldn't get up made worse by his hangover. My mother always said years later that any bad things that happened to Everton over the years were because my dad went back on his promise. That's a true story.
