One of the best games I ever saw...up to now.Everton v Liverpool 1966 and sub Sandy Brown rises to head past Tommy Lawrence and the Toffees win 3-1. Poor old Sandy is only remembered for an own goal though........ - a certain Bally got the other two -

With getting there late we just piled in - big mistake fans being sick being crushed etc awful day.... in the back of the Holt end it was that packed you could not get on the terraces at the back ..... we left 10 minutes early as we were seeing very little of this game .... heard a roar asked the nearby coach driver who had scored - topped the day of lovely ...dohWe learned from past experience Not to use the usual (sign posted) route, but to carry on to the next exit, follow signs to WBA, then keep going past their ground and approach from the...erm...rear, as the say.
iirc there was cash at the gate and having been coerced into bringing girlfriends with us we strolled in to the paddock, with the Holte to our right hand, sadly, a perfect view of the goal.
@Joey66 Is Roy Parnell the furthest on the left in the middle row?....Perhaps Ray Veall on the end of the back row. Roy Parnell, Shaw & Barry Rees towards the left of the middle row (around Tommy Wright). George Sharples next to Mick Meagan but guesses rather than certainty.
