Great pic, albeit with the terracing boarded off a couple of foot. Any even half-knowledgeable football fan even today would see that stand on Tv and straightaway know it was part of Goodison. Can only hope that there's going to be something distinctive about BMD. Not evident at the moment.
When my dad died , he was a season ticket holder and a member of the.Everton Supports club i went to the club to see his mates ,i wore his everton tie it was a great night ,one of his mates invited me back to his house.He had all sorts of memberbela ,and he gave me a pair of Allen Balls boots they were like a child"s size 5s on the sole were studs with A B on them . When we moved with the slum clearance i lost them, it is funny how one picture can bring back so many memories , but that is great about football .
….my folks were Supporters Club regulars, my Mum was on the Committee & as a kid I was in there lots myself in the 60s and 70s. It was in there the night we won the league in 1970 that Alan Ball snr let me hold his sins winners medal.
