Strange to see shirts with nothing on them, club badge, advertising etc. I understand the missing advertising but when did the club badge start appearing?

There was EFC embroidered on the shirts in 1920s for ten years or so, then nothing on them until the early 1970s and simply EFC styled again. The crest first appeared in 1978+ and in various guises to date.
