….I met Alan Ball snr the night we beat West Brom to win the title in 1970. I was 13 years of age & in Everton Supporters Club with my Dad and uncles. Alan Ball snr was in there with his sons winners medal which he kindly allowed me to touch. Alan Ball worshipped his Dad and must’ve given him his medal straight after the game finished.
