I remember that game via Ipswich's then Manager Bobby Robson comments in the papers the next day raving about our midfield trio, plus the side in general we won 3-0 - his plaudits were total football - his home crowd applauded them off the field at the end - Alf Ramsay need to look at this midfield trio, & play the three of them etc in England's midfield -
Thank god we only have to place them twice in a season, baring a FA CUP game etc ......
Robson turned out to be a world-class coach /Manager......
Unplayable, Colin Harvey stated we played more consistently well in 1967/68 as the Holy Trinity played most games unlike when we won the league in 1969/70 where suspensions & injuries to either of the disrupted the side.
