Great photo. Beloved those older Everton kits. That blue and white is iconic. But I personally loved the amber and blue kit. Great kits back in the day. Great stuff.
Just did a quick check. After a 0-0 draw , Everton lost this replay 3-0. Losing football matches back then as well.

Our old school football kit was the royal blue and white that Everton played in. Blue/ white jersey. White shorts. White socks. Our trainer/ coach called us mini Everton. He was always talking about Everton. I suppose in that mini Everton set up, I was Tommy Wright or Jimmy Husband. My positions. Sometimes RB. Sometimes RW. Honest.......my instructions were , to go and play like TW would. Or play like JH .
