Brilliant pic. Would love to hear from any of the young fans surrounding him, and their experiences of the day. My Da' was there that day.
Looks over the line to me like.
Heartbreaking night that. Thunderous header from Latch though.
Kevin Richardson, defo got his eye on that girl there!
Joe Harper used to do a footy phone in show on Radio Clyde, when i worked up there, about 1999. His picture was on billboards and buses up there. For such a small feller in terms of height, he looked like a walking heart attack. Must have weighed 20+ stones.Stated Joe Harper but captions can be incorrect as we know .....
Gerry Daly and Brian Roberts (coventry), and the legendary Kevin Sheedy.
Very enjoyable game. Snowy night, orange Tango ball i remember. If memory serves Paul Hinselwood, who died two weeks ago, scored a worldie for Oxfords consolation. Any shot from 35 yards that beat big Nev, had to be a worldie.
He has actually lost weight since last i saw him late 90s.
He defo has a look of Dennis L'Corriere from Dr Hook. At first, i thought you meant the dude who wore an eye patch in Dr Hook, who was also on vocals, and maracas. Was Latchford the lead singer in doctor hook?

Brilliant pic. Thats the 1st game of the season 77/8. Where we battered Forest for large parts, but John Robertson was having one of those days, he was superb. Jim Pearson scored our goal in the park end. A 3-1 defeat to the Champions elect. But we had a good season ourselves, finishing 3rd.
