Joe Harper used to do a footy phone in show on Radio Clyde, when i worked up there, about 1999. His picture was on billboards and buses up there. For such a small feller in terms of height, he looked like a walking heart attack. Must have weighed 20+ stones.Stated Joe Harper but captions can be incorrect as we know .....

That was the last cup tie I missed 'till 1968. I was staying in Blackpool the week before the semi and United were staying there also. I sat in the cinema behind Law and Charlton and tried to "tap them up" for a semi ticket as I had not got one from Goodison but to no avail.
