Pat Van Den Hauwe Defender. Age 24 (until 16 Dec ’85). Born Dendermonde. He joined the Toffees from Birmingham in a £100,000 deal in September 1984. He subsequently made his Welsh international debut in April that season. Not only that, but he chose Wales on the recommendations of Neville Southall and Kevin Ratcliffe. In the absence of Derek Mountfield, Pat spent much of the 1985/86 season in the centre of the Everton defence, playing 40 League matches -
