….as a schoolboy I started to have hamstring and quad muscle injuries, Joe invited me to Anfield at lunch times to give me treatment. As you can imagine, I was never stuck for a lift from teachers. As you say, Joe Fagan was very humble and a proper gentleman.

Now that was a squad. Too goalkeeper.. Solid defence. Majestic midfield. And two top wingers. And two decent goalscorers. Top team. Great stuff....

What am I missing here. Is that 2 left backs in that team photo. Newton and Terry Cooper. Is that Cooper beside Hurst. I must be way off track . Must check that team out.
