Looked it up - surprised only 85 appearances for us but 299 for Watford. I thought he would have much more with us
Always an understudy to Gordon West who was an international keeper 2nd to Gordon Banks - sometimes he kept West out of the team on merit... but he always had a mistake in him - other games he was top class - he just never made the grade with us ....
He always seemed to blip in vital games too ...... He was loved at Watford .....
